2018

Buckley Town FC would like to thank all our sponsors and supporters for the tremendous support throughout the entire year of 2018.

The club has experienced great highs this year and none of that would be achievable without you the fans. From the league win vs Brickfield at home, where 604 fans flooded the Globe to the current run of form for 2018.

Some highlights to mention. The 3-2 comeback where Jake Roberts scored the 30-yard screamer Vs Chirk AAA. Pretty much no games for a month at the end of February to March. The 5-0 win over Cefn Albion away, everything just flowed that day. The 100 plus Town supporters who made the trip to Brickfield where Buckley equalised late on through Aled Bellis. Then onto the big one. Aled Bellis scoring an injury time penalty to gain promotion for the Bucks. That cheer was something else. Never seen the Globe so full.

Onward from that the Juniors holding their tournament at the Globe. A well organised event structured perfectly by the them, giving hundreds of children the chance to play football.

Then the inclusion of 5 local lads into the reserves. The football club is heading into the right direction whilst working with its local community.

The 2018/19 season has been positive thus far. The 21 points collected and the ever-growing local talent pool. Not to exclude the goals from halfway line by Phill Molyneux and Josh Jones. Beating Prestatyn Town on their own patch 4-0 plus all of the other great games of football. Dan Moore’s Manager of the Month and Joe Makaruk’s Player of the Month Awards.

Here’s to the next year.

And thank you once again for your full support.
