Buckley Town 0 Flint Town United 3

The game was effectively all over by half-time as Flint scored three goals in quick succession during the first half with Richie Foulkes (penalty), Andrew Brown and Alex Titchiner all on target.

Buckley made more of a game of it during the second half but simply could not get anything on target and rarely troubled Aaron Jones in the Flint Town United goal.

Buckley’s only real highlight was the debut of Jack Edwards in goal deputising for Joe Makaruk and he made some excellent saves during the game to prevent the score from being higher than it was.

Corwen are the visitors on Wednesday night with a 7:30 pm kick-off in the Second Round of the NEWFA Challenge Cup.
