Penrhyncoch 2 Buckley Town 1

With Buckley playing downhill at Cae Baker in the first half they took the game to the hosts.

After 15 minutes, the pressure paid off with a soaring header from Lewis Hone making it 1-0 to the visitors.

Penrhyncoch had a golden chance to equalise but put the ball over an open goal.

The second half saw Buckley well on top with Penrhyn’s goalkeeper Leigh Jenkins keeping them in the game with many good saves.

However, after a crowd disruption that seemed to spur on Penrhyncoch, they scored two quick goals through Steff Davies on 77 and 79 minutes.

Buckley will rue their missed chances.
