Buckley Town Juniors turned out in force today as part of our community based football club to support the senior squad at the Globe as they beat local rivals Flint Town United 2-1 with goals from Aron Williams and Jake Roberts.
Buckley Town Juniors Chairman Kevin Holden said of the turn out, “Immensely proud to see the support from all sections of the club at the game v Flint Town.”
“Junior players, through to the veterans made up with the families all to cheer us on to victory. This is what it’s all about. United as a club there’s no better around than us.”
Buckley Town Chairman Pete Gunson also commented, “Great to see the Junior and Senior teams of Buckley Town coming together and giving a view of the future.”
“This was followed by a fantastic performance and a victory over local rivals Flint Town which was watched by over 600 dedicated fans, amazing support as always!”
1st Team Manager Dan Moore was also impressed by the attendance and said, “It was great to share the day with players, coaches, volunteers and family members throughout the entire club.”
“I was pleased to see the young players especially enjoying their day, they’re the future of our club.”

Everyone involved with Buckley Town FC would like to thank all that attended the game whether player, coach, parent, spectator or volunteer and that helped make the day the success it was, especially with the reward of three points and a victory against a very good Flint Town side that currently sit second in the league. We hope you will all attend again in future and help us with our plan to make Buckley Town FC the best club in the area at every age group from U6 to Veterans.
