Conwy Borough kept Buckley Town honest throughout the game but it was Buckley that came out on top with a 2-3 win at Y Morfa.
Connor Littler, who had a fine game for Buckley Town, opened the scoring after six minutes reacting first in the box to knock the ball home (pictured left).
Conwy struck back when Craig Whelan fired home after twelve minutes but Aron Williams should have made it 1-2 when he missed from a yard out when it looked easier to score than miss. Then Corrig McGonigle scored a worldy from close to the halfway line, totally against the run of play, just on the stroke of half time.
Buckley came out for the second half determined to get back level and so they did when Aron Williams finished in typical style to make it 2-2 on forty-nine minutes.
Connor Littler then scored his second and Buckley Town’s third and winning goal (main picture and right) when he rose highest at the near post from a Keiron Moore corner.
Buckley could have gone further ahead and Conwy did go close late on but Town closed the game out well and sealed three good points on the road.
