Aaron is from Deganwy and started refereeing in 2012 at the age of 16. At 22 years of age, this is his third season on the Huws Gray Cymru Alliance referees panel. Aaron was appointed to referee the 2015/16 NWCFA Junior Cup Final, as well as acting as an assistant referee on both the Huws Gray Alliance Final and the FAW Trophy Final in the same season. In 2017 he graduated from the UEFA ‘CORE’ programme in Nyon in Geneva, Switzerland, giving him the opportunity to officiate in Dublin, Belfast and twice in France. Aaron was also appointed as reserve assistant referee in last season’s Welsh Cup Final between Aberystwyth and Connah’s Quay in Newtown. Alongside refereeing he has recently graduated from the University of Chester with a degree in sports science and works at a special educational needs school. His hobbies include travelling and most sports.
