Recap
Last night was another good experience for mostly a reserve squad against Cefn Albion who we know are a well drilled footballing side that is established in the Welsh National Leagues Premier Division. On the night we had four 16 year old’s start the game, with a 5th on the bench. A further five more in the 16 man squad were under 21. It is not going to happen over night for our young team but we are on the right track in getting the reserves to where we want and need them to be.
Unfortunately our goalkeeper Jack Edwards broke his wrist (radius head). It’s not a good break; he was put in a temporary cast overnight. This morning they began manipulating the bones and he has had a scan and then the hand surgeon is to do an operation tomorrow.
Both Dan and Charlie have been in touch with Jack and Angela (his mum) over the course of last night and this morning to keep updated. Ryan Dunn (his replacement on the night) also contacted him to lend his support.
Everyone at the club wishes Jack a speedy recovery and we all hope to see him back playing as soon as possible.
