Cefn Albion FC

Cefn Albion was formed in the summer of June 2013 for the sole purpose to give the young lads of the community of Cefn Mawr a football team to represent and be proud of. The club was started up by a small group of people, people who had once themselves represented Cefn teams and felt the urge to give something back to the younger people of their generation.

After a very short spell in obscurity the ‘cefners’ we’re back, starting off in the Clwyd east league the newly assembled squad of local lads steamrolled their way through and picked up 4 shiny trophies that would find their homes in the ccsc. Playing their home games from ‘The Muga’ beneath Tesco the boys then moved into Welsh National League Division One and the main objective of promotion was achieved, all systems go to the Welsh National League.

Off the field things are really picking up ahead of steam too, led by the chairmen Hadyn Evans and the secretary Dean Morris the club is moving completely in the right direction, the committee is working harder than ever and the future is bright.
