FOOTBALL CLUB
Football in Buckley has a long history going back to around 1860 with many clubs playing in different leagues, much different to that we know today. It was not until 1977 with the amalgamation of Rovers and Wanderers that the club we know today came into being, firstly, as Buckley FC and then adopting Buckley Town FC from the 1990-91 season onwards.
