Buckley Town were in fine form today and thumped 8 past bottom of the league side Coedpoeth United.
They were two up within five minutes following a short corner routine that saw the ball crossed to the back stick for Andrew Watkin to head home and then a quick break down the left wing saw Aaron Williams pivot neatly in the box to fire home after a neat cross in to his feet.
New signing Adam Eden made it three before Curtis Griffiths for Coedpoeth pulled one back.
Shaun Tinsley made it four and then five before Griffiths again pulled one back for Coedpoeth with a looping header that sailed up and over keeper Joe Makaruk in the Buckley goal. He managed to get finger tips to it but could not keep it out.
Following the break Shaun Tinsley sealed his hatrick with a break away down the left side and a neat finish past the keeper on 55 minutes. Buckley continued to dominate and it was then about how many they would score as player after player had opportunities to score. Most efforts went high wide and handsome or were kept out by Coedpoeth keeper who despite the score line made some decent stops.
Chris Forshaw came off the bench and had a couple of chances before firing home on 70 minutes and Aled Bellis rounded it off when he fired home from the edge of the box.
