Buckley Town made it through to the 3rd round of the JD Welsh Cup with goals on either side of halftime against Porthmadog from Asa Hamilton and a third from Ruben Lima a minute after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Julian Williams scored from the penalty spot for Porthmadog but it is Buckely Town that progress to the next round, where there should be some exciting ties on offer due to the reorganisation of the competition resulting from this seeded second round.
